Not so appropriate.

Why do people in offices insist on making inappropriate and annoying comments when someone's significant other stops by?

Coworker: Was that your boy that just dropped you off outside?
me: Oh, yeah, it was.
Coworker: Ooohh, a little afternoon delight?
me: Um... no. We just went to lunch.

    That is hilarious and such a bizarre thing to say unless you are actually friends with the person and they know you well enough to make a joke like that.

    And as someone else said - it could totally be classified as sexual harrassment - no sex convo!
